Although initially (after our last summer holidays in July) we did not plan to go to Poland again so soon, especially during winter season, we are very happy that we actually went as the vacation proved very enjoyable despite short daylight and general lack of outdoor entertainment for our boys. As always we met our family and friends who always generously offer a large variety (and quantity ;)) of traditional Polish cuisine. We saw a number of nativity cribs (including the one at the Cathedral in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a with life animals), went to the puppet theatre, soft play area called “Figloraj” (which translates “Mischief Paradise”), saw some films at the cinema and send Kuba to the Polish nursery for a week to meet some friends and acquire a bit of discipline. The “real” Santa was also there and none of the children realised that his name was actually Piotrek. All in all, it was a busy and very enjoyable time. Chocia\u017c po naszych ostatnich wakacjach w lipcu nie planowali\u015bmy kolejnej wyprawy do Polski tak szybko, szczeg\u00f3lnie zim\u0105, to ca\u0142e szcz\u0119\u015bcie, \u017ce w ko\u0144cu zdecydowali\u015bmy si\u0119 gdy\u017c \u015bwi\u0119ta up\u0142yn\u0119\u0142y nam bardzo ciekawie. Nawet brak s\u0142o\u0144ca, kr\u00f3tki dzie\u0144 i niedostatek zabaw na \u015bwie\u017cym powietrzu nie popsu\u0142 \u015bwi\u0105tecznej radosnej atmosfery. Jak zwykle spotkali\u015bmy si\u0119 z rodzin\u0105 oraz przyjaci\u00f3\u0142mi, kt\u00f3rzy zawsze szczodrze podejmuj\u0105 nas rozmaito\u015bciami z tradycyjnej kuchni polskiej (w poka\u017anych ilo\u015bciach ma si\u0119 rozumie\u0107 ;)). Odwiedzili\u015bmy kilka szopek bo\u017conarodzeniowych (\u0142\u0105cznie z t\u0105 najwi\u0119ksz\u0105 przy katedrze z \u017cywym inwentarzem), poszli\u015bmy na sztuk\u0119 do Arlekina, powyg\u0142upiali\u015bmy si\u0119 troch\u0119 w Figloraju, byli\u015bmy w kinie na kilku filmach o zr\u00f3\u017cnicowanej jako\u015bci oraz pos\u0142ali\u015bmy Kub\u0119 na tydzie\u0144 do przedszkola, aby zapozna\u0142 si\u0119 polskimi r\u00f3wie\u015bnikami i nabra\u0142 troch\u0119 dyscypliny. Odwiedzi\u0142 nas r\u00f3wnie\u017c “prawdziwy” \u015aw. Miko\u0142aj, a \u017cadne z dzieci nawet nie zorientowa\u0142o si\u0119, \u017ce mia\u0142 on na imi\u0119 Piotrek. By\u0142y to doprawdy wspania\u0142e \u015bwi\u0119ta, pe\u0142ne przyg\u00f3d, radosnych spotka\u0144, zabaw oraz znikomej ilo\u015bci odpoczynku.
