Poniewa\u017c wszyscy uwielbimy poezj\u0119 postanowili\u015bmy \u015bwi\u0119towa\u0107 ten wiecz\u00f3r w prawdziwie szkockim stylu. Na pocz\u0105tku przeczytali\u015bmy na g\u0142os fragment <a title=\"Address to a Haggis\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rabbie-burns.com\/the_poems\/addresstoahaggis.cfm.html\">poetycznej inwokacji<\/a> do potrawy wieczoru, kt\u00f3r\u0105 by\u0142 naturalnie <a title=\"Haggis\" href=\"http:\/\/pl.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haggis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">haggis<\/a>, po czym zasztyletowali\u015bmy &#8216;besti\u0119&#8217; ostrym no\u017cem i zjedli\u015bmy jak nale\u017cy, z dodatkiem t\u0142uczonych ziemniak\u00f3w i tutejszej rzepy. Wa\u017cnym elementem wieczoru by\u0142o oczywi\u015bcie picie whisky. Wp\u0142ywa ona dobrze na trawienie, a tak\u017ce pomaga w lepszym zrozumieniu poezji wieszcza. Uczt\u0119 zako\u0144czyli\u015bmy wspania\u0142\u0105 irlandzk\u0105 kaw\u0105, aby przypomnie\u0107 sobie r\u00f3wnie\u017c o naszych cz\u0119\u015bciowo irlandzkich korzeniach. S\u0142owem, wiecz\u00f3r by\u0142 wy\u015bmienity. Poczuli\u015bmy si\u0119 niczym prawdziwi bohaterowie romantyczni, gdy\u017c wszystkie talerze bez wyj\u0105tku osta\u0142y si\u0119 puste.<\/p>\n<p>On the 25th of January, according to the old Scottish tradition, people commemorate the great romantic poet and national hero, Robbie Burns. As we all are very much into poetry we did our best to celebrate in style. We started with a fragment (as no one could read the whole thing) of the <a title=\"Address to a Haggis\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rabbie-burns.com\/the_poems\/addresstoahaggis.cfm.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poem <\/a>addressed to a <a title=\"Haggis\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haggis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Haggis <\/a>by Robbie, then we &#8216;killed&#8217; the beast with a sharp knife and ate it with &#8216;neeps and tatties&#8217;, we drunk some single malt whisky to help digestion and understanding of the poetry and we finished off with some Irish coffee to remind ourselves of our partially Irish roots.
