Under increasing pressure from the web experts (i.e. Arek-;) I have finally decided that from now on all the news will be published on the Weblog only. There are various pros and cons as always but after all, we should be taking advantage of new technologies. Believe it or not but this website has been designed with rather ancient HTML technology. It is not in fashion any more, you know... ;-).

Meet
the new member of our family: Stefan Jan Dyśko, born today at 12:51pm
(weight 3.65kg/8lb - height 57cm). The baby was so eager to

the parents that we only just managed to get to the haspital
on

We went abroad again and guess what? It was actually not Poland this time. Instead, we spent a week in Porto, which was almost as good as Łódź ;-)... only joking. The weather was fantastic, people friendly and food delicious, not to mention Port Wine. However, Kuba would probably not agree as he totally ignored local cuisine and opted for chicken McNuggets. Can you believe it?
All this thanks to Maria do Rosario and Christian who were geting married on the 16th of July. The wedding was fantastic with plenty of old and new friends from all over the world. Some more sunny photos of Portugal you can see here.

Jakub's second birthday was celebrated once in Poland and twice in Scotland. In total he had 4 cakes and blew no less than 8 candles. See all this here.

We have been to Poland to get some rest and learn the language. Jakub and Mary both made excellent progress. Adam has not made any progres at all. Look here for the highlights.

Kuba have already grew out of diggers and prefers trains, although, sometimes they are difficult to operate and you can't put much soil on them either.

We cannot say that winter stayed too in Carfin but it was quite severe at one point. No need to worry thou. Never tired, Jakub rushed to the rescue and cleared all the snow with his Super Shovel.

had an excellent pancake
party today. Top professional chefs were competing for the best
results: Mary (innovative recipe modification), Justyna (cooking
excellence and speed) and Eugen (measurement and proportion expert). No
wonder that not a single pancake was left...
