We are all very proud of Kuba achieving distinction in his Grade 3 piano exam but baring in mind eccentricity of the boy it was not quite so obvious until we got the certificate.

Jesteśmy wszyscy niesłychanie dumni z Kuby, który osiągnął wyróżnienie na egzaminie muzycznym z fortepianu (trzeci poziom). Jednakże biorąc pod uwagę ekscentryczny charakter naszego chłopca nie byliśmy pewni końcowego wyniku aż do momentu otrzymania dyplomu.

Our summer vacation this year (as in previous years) involved a fair bit of driving. So far we have managed to resist the idea of DVD watching and electronic gaming…. this time in favour of… THE WIGGLES! Greg, Murray, Jeff and Anthony were the best companions tirelessly singing for us “Toot! Toot! Chugga Chugga big red car, we travel near and travel far!”. And you know what? We actually did travel in a big red car and it was quite far indeed. Most importantly though, the wiggly music kept our tiny (but often explosive) Dan, who was perfecting all his wiggly actions all the way to Poland, very well occupied and happy. The others joined too so we had a Big Red Happy Car most of the time. You can do it too, just try that HOT POTATO song and moves, and you’ll be wiggled in no time 🙂 Thank you the Wiggles!
We visited more countries than ever before reaching “the ends of the Earth” (and beyond, i.e. beautiful Welsh countryside) all of which can be seen in our holiday photo diary HERE. Enjoy!

It has to be said, spring has taken rather loooong time to arrive this year. Actually, we are still not entirely sure if it is definitely here. We had snow at Easter and even now only most adventurous would dare to wear a T-shirt. Nevertheless, to be positively optimistic about the new season we present a “Spring concert”. Just look at Daniel’s performance. He can already read music before he can speak!

Trzeba przyznać, że w tym roku dłuuuugo przyszło nam czekać na przyjście wiosny. Prawdę powiedziawszy, w dalszym ciągu nie jesteśmy pewni czy przyszła. Mieliśmy śnieżną pogodę na Wielkanoc i nawet teraz tylko nieliczni, najbardziej zahartowani, pojawiają się w krótkim rękawku na ulicy. Pomimo tego, chcemy być pozytywnie optymistyczni i dlatego prezentujemy “Wiosenny koncert”. Zwróćcie uwagę na Daniela. Jeszcze nie potrafi poprawnie mówić a już gra prosto z nut!

Jeden z tych momentów, kiedy chciałoby się zatrzymać czas…

With this short festive concert by Kuba and Stefan we would like to wish you a wonderful, hope filled Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Tym krótkim świątecznym koncertem Kuby i Stefana chcielibyśmy Wam wszystkim życzyć wspaniałych, wypełnionych nadzieją i rodzinną atmosferą świąt Bożego Narodzenia oraz szczęśliwego Nowego Roku.

Daniel uwielbia pianino i chociaż paluszki ma ciągle malutkie, całymi rączkami jest w stanie zagrać nie lada koncercik, po którym pozuje do zdjęcia jak profesjonalny artysta.

Daniel loves piano, and even though his fingers are still small, his whole hands can produce reasonably powerful concertos on the keyboard after which he poses for the camera like a professional artist.

In the family everyone can play music but does everyone have enough peace?

W rodzinie każdy może sobie muzykować, ale czy każdy może to robić w spokoju?

Unlike others Patryk seems to have consciously directed his art interests towards abstract. Whenever asked about the subject of his creations he always answers without hesitation: “It doesn’t have a name!”.

W odróżnieniu od pozostałych, wydaje się, że Patryk świadomie kieruje swoje zainteresowania artystyczne w kierunku sztuki abstrakcyjnej. Pytany o przedmiot swoich dzieł artystycznych odpowiada zawsze bez wahania: “To nie ma tytułu!”.
