After last year’s break from travelling we were desperate to catapult ourselves from (well watered) Scotland for some time as soon as the school doors were shut; and what a great adventure it was! We were certainly not disappointed and I think the boys had a great time too. Everyone had a chance to demonstrate what they are best at. If we were to give prizes (in the spirit of Olympic competition) the golden medal for cuteness and most notorious travelling habits would have to go to Daniel. He certainly beat everyone by a wide margin in both categories. The first prize for bravery and tree climbing achievement goes to Stefan. Despite being stuck between the trees some 6m above the ground he kept his cool and never gave up. The annual golden cup in photography goes this time to Kuba. He even beat Tata with a romantic portrait of his parents. The golden medal for water acrobatics goes to Patryk; and Benon was clearly unbeatable in blowing candles on someone else’s Birthday cake (Daniel’s this time) without being asked. The shining golden disk for the most beautiful smile and cuddly nature goes without doubt to Mama, while the special award for driving and getting everyone home safely would probably have to go to Tata. Not even a broken wing mirror!
